Oglala Pet Project (OPP) - An OPPortunity to help pets on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation
Oglala Pet Project (OPP) is a 501c3 non-profit organization funded solely through donations from the general public. You can support our project and programs by clicking on the link below to make a secure online donation through PayPal:
In 2013 Oglala Pet Project-OPP, a 501c3 non-profit organization, helped over 1,250 pets on the Pine Ridge Reservation. OPP spayed or neutered 175 pets for community members. Regular pet wellness clinics provided basic pet care, like vaccinations and mange treatments, to more than 300 animals. Our pet food bank provided much needed dog & cat food to over 500 animals, and more than 75 unwanted pets were transferred to regional shelters and rescues. OPP’s own adoption program proudly re-homed more than 215 unwanted pets & all of them were spayed or neutered prior to adoption. None of this would be possible without the continued support from you, our loyal adopters and supporters.
